[beta 19] all previous unlocks forgotten

I had the same problem with beta 18, and never found a way to get them back. Since I was pretty busy the last month, I just decided to wait for beta 19, but still all of my unlocks have been forgotten...and I spent a lot of time working to unlock the cryomancer tree...

Any ideas how to fix this?? When I play beta 14, everything is still there, but the newer betas do not seem to be detecting it.

I've deleted all my tome4 preferences, but after logging back to my online profile, all my previous unlocks were back. Did you create an online profile? If you did, you should be able to get your unlocks back.

I've tried setting up an online profile using beta 14 (which still has the unlocks), however I don't seem to be able to log in - whenever I try to create a new profile or to log in with one i've created, it tells me the profile has failed to authenticate and to try again later.

Any ideas? Is there another way to get my unlocks back without having to set up an online profile?

Thanks, that seems to have more or less sorted it.

I went to te4.org, set up my account, and then opened beta 14 and logged in. Then I closed beta 14, opened beta 19 (and was still logged in), and I was able to access all my unlocks in beta 19. However, if I logged out, all the unlocks disappeared again.

Any ideas on how to access the unlocks while not logged in? I don't always have internet access, so it would be nice to be able to create new characters whenever I need to.

can't be too precise as i'm at school, not at home. in the folder .t-engine (that's linux) there's a file called something like allowbuilds somewhere, which contains your unlocks. on a machine without internet connection this file may not be generated. copying this file might solve your problem?

edit: once this file is present, it unlocks should be availble even when offline. possibly new unlocks achieved when offline would be uploaded when online and logged in again?

Indeed, the situation with going on- and off-line seems to be buggy. Using the same game folder (on pendrive) i play on 2 different computers (playing different games there, not copying saves etc), one connected to the net and the other not. On the unconnected there's a constant "switching to development profile" thing popping up.
