unidentified artifact can be activated from I but not shrtct

I put yellow boots on shortcut and can activate them from inventory. In the shortcut window I see yellow boots, but pressing shortcut produce "you don't have yellow boots" msg

You can't activate something if you don't know what it is. Identify it first and then you can.

But I can activate it from inventory. So it still a bug. BTW I can activate unidentified wands too.
