I was playing a Dwarf Berserker on Discovery in b14 and decide to restart after I died (choosing restart as same character), and after I've been playing a while, I suddenly earn an Achievement and start earning more...and then I died in Sandworm Lair and I got a free life...which I then proceed to die again...damn the Antimagic quest...
Is this supposed to happen?
Also on Antimagic quest, how do you actually trigger the actual fighting? Lv 15? I check the code and it says something about need to be 10 levels over when you trigger it...

Restarting character difficulty bump
Why can't TOME 4 has a secret room where you can represent game bugs as, well, enemies you can crush like in Divine Divinity? That would be cool...
Re: Restarting character difficulty bump
The antimagic quests requires you to level up 10 times without using magic.
If you pick it up at level 5 for example, you can return at level 15 to continue.

Pretty bad condition...if I use Orb of Scrying, does it count as using magic item?

Re: Restarting character difficulty bump
Nope, you can use the Orb with no issues.
You can also use infusions, but not runes I believe.

Re: Restarting character difficulty bump
You can activate artefacts and use infusions. You may use abilities that are based on Equilibrium.
You may not use (apply) runes, use abilites that are based on mana, negative, positive energy or vim.
As sustained abilities get disabled/enabled on levelup, you have to disable them before taking on the antimagic-quest if they are considered magical.
