[svn 1920] Stalactite missiles exploit
When assigning multiple targets for stalactite missiles, hitting escape before assigning the last 'cancels' the spell with no mana or energy cost but the assigned missiles are already fired, giving you a way to exploit infinite missiles at zero cost.

Can't believe I didn't catch this.
Anyway I think the whole spell will have to be a single function then, which means once you cast it it goes on cooldown like Extract Gems does.
Some other thoughts care of Zonk was to make it a reduced energy cost spell (which would mean you couldn't really fire multiple shots in one turn till you reduced the cooldown).
