So, I'm running around in Tol Falas, having a grand old time, when I spy a pit of undead.
And I learn that casting Time Prison at a choke point, followed by Corrosive Vapor, is a wonderful little trap-making routine.
But after the dust had settled and all of those funny alphabet letters were reduced to puddles of quivering slime, a strange sight I beheld...
There, in the middle of the room, where a vampire had once stood, a flickering light remained.
What was this? I stood in it, and nothing happened. The last vestige of this creature's immortal soul, left to remain on level 5 for all eternity as punishment for crossing my path? A trap that would kill me in 10,000 turns or after I took five steps? A novelty tombstone?
One wonders...
[Because of the mass-scale of this battle, it's hard to pin down exactly where the code might have went wonky, so I've saved the entire sdout from this point in the game back and it is available upon request.]
