Another Escort Bug (Pathfinding)

Picked up an escort quest and he won't path to the portal. No errors in the log, he started on his way and then decided to hang out in an L shaped hallway.

I've gone up to the portal and back, the path is clear. He's acting like he has two viable paths and can't make up his mind between them. If I watch him he'll move back and forth on his own between two tiles.

If I bump him further along the hallway by moving diagonally he'll wait till I get out of his way and go back to moving between his two squares. If I occupy one of his two squares he'll just wait for me to move and then go back to what he was doing.
