Aborting Imbue Item before you actually imbue something triggers the cooldown.
Imbue Item overwrites existing bonuses if there's overlap between the existing bonuses and the gem bonuses.
'L'ook puts the cursor in bizarre default positions. Maybe it's just on the overland map. On one memorable occasion, after porting back to the Far East after Mt. Doom, I 'L'ooked and the cursor was miles away. Way, way off the screen. Took a lot of scrolling to get it back in sight. Maybe it was back at Mt. Doom.
Climbing out of the Sandworm Lair after killing the queen, the depth always showed as 7.
Ring of the War Master doesn't boost the Warcries mastery, and it seems like it should.
Chitinous spiders (and maybe other spiders) get caught in sticky webs.
I bought an Ancient Tome titled 'Gems and their uses' in the Far East. I couldn't figure out what to do with it for a long time. Turns out I had to drop it and pick it up to trigger the quest. I assume it wasn't meant to show up in stores.
Shield Pummeling with Smaug's shield deals fire damage. Don't know if that's a feature or a bug, but it can certainly be annoying. You need the shield for fiery enemies, and yet your pummels don't hurt those enemies.
Using Rush from two squares away doesn't work.
Achievements for reaching X gold are awarded at strange times. The 1000 gold achievement showed up only when I reached 1000 gold by looting gold off the ground, even though I had earlier had over 1000 gold through selling loot.
Battle Call is rather strange and unpredictable. It seems to include yourself in those called to battle, and moves you.
There are mysterious _ (underscore) symbols scattered around the ground in the Slime tunnels. Examining them provides no information. They seem to do nothing. Just weird-looking floor tiles.
I took out all four Orc Pride nests and got a message saying that I had completed The many Prides of the Orcs. It told me to go talk to the paladin in town, but she didn't react in any way. The quest is just sitting, completed, in my log.
The Chromatic Harness didn't seem to help at all against poison from nagas in Osse. I'm not clear on the difference between nature resistance and poison immunity, the latter of which is granted by the Chromatic Harness.
Those clouds of darkness produced by certain demons are very persistent. Don't know if that's intended. I expected them to dissipate.
Certain dialogs refuse to recognize the keypad enter. It works interchangeably with the regular old enter almost everywhere, but not in dialogs specifying quantities while selling, for example.
General feedback:
The floating combat text is impossible to read once you get multiple messages flying off a single target. It would be nice to spread it out more or something.
I really miss having my @ change colors to reflect my health.
I wish immobile enemies (such as molds) wouldn't interrupt resting.
We really need a way to pass time without leaning on the 5 key, which is way too dangerous. I would use it all the time; waiting for cooldowns, waiting for enemies to make their way around the corner, etc.
Charged items seem way too expensive to recharge.
Carn Dum felt very easy. I saved it for last (within that set of four dungeons), and I was way overpowered by the time I hit it. Maybe it would have been the same with whatever dungeon I saved for last.
Similarly, after doing all four Orc Prides, that wasteland before Mt. Doom was about ten levels too low. It was laughably easy compared to any of the Orc Prides.
Speaking of those Orc Prides, they were insanely dangerous when I first attempted them around level 32. As a fighter, I simply had no defense against caster orcs blasting me with blight and such. They could two-shot me. The only place even remotely suitable for leveling was the spider cave. I had to gain five levels or so before I stood a chance against an Orc Pride boss.
Maps need borders. That blackness looks like plain old unlit floor, which makes the dungeons look very incomplete. Also, running treats those border tiles oddly, which makes running near borders annoying. The entrance to Bree is a good example. Oh, and I really wish that having my runs canceled didn't clog up my message log with explanations.
edit: Forgot to say that this was a load of fun, and I can't wait to see where the game goes in the future. It's starting to feel filled out and polished! I'll try to contribute some actual constructive suggestions soon to offset this Wall of Complaints
