Bugs or not bugs?

- I found an amulet of mastery, 0.11 Technique / Combat Techniques, but it has no effect on the bonuses of the generic talents... possibly at higher values?

- Sun Paladin: Chant of Fortitude never disappates, even when positive energy at zero... is it related to weapon of light not ending until an attack attempted with positive at zero? I haven't used sustained abilities before now, so I admit I'm not used to them. It seems I just have to cast a spell after resting to keep my sustained abilities going (since my positive will usually reach zero when resting).

- It seems ok to overfill positive energy, which makes casting negative positive energy spells practically free (just a cooldown to consider).

- I doubt this will come up too much once we're out of beta, but from beta7 to beta8, my saved characters' hotkeys were spells they did not have... and they worked. These "new" spells are listed in the m-key casting menu, but not in the talents levelup menu. (And I lost my previous skills) However, even if you added some way for the engine to detect this problem, I don't see a simple solution to fixing it... I found that I can cast equilibrium spells dozens of times, since I don't have an equilibrium. Perhaps that should at least be addressed. Also, should summoned monsters have items? I just made a dozen battleaxes for free!

- Also with this "broken" save, I went to Bree and ran into a bug when entering the town (time kept passing on its own):

- I can't delete saves from within the engine? I found I can "Play a new game" and use the same name as a save to overwrite that save, but there was no confirmation!

- Could talents and such that are recasted when leveling up stats or levels not show a message or play a sound? Perhaps just print a message stating that they're reset? My Sun Paladin has two sustained abilities which play the same sound, so it's quite loud.

This comes from the two different masteries "technique/combat-techniques-active" and ""technique/combat-techniques-passive" having the same name used for displaying. You probably have an amulet of "technique/combat-techniques-active" which correctly only modifies the active talent category. Maybe the name's should be "Combat Techniques (active)" and "Combat Techniques (passive") to avoid this sort of confusion? And likewise for the rest of the combat techniques since this does occur frequently (eg. two-handed weapons, weapons and shield, etc)

Now that is interesting! I have seen weird hotkeys talents after upgrading but never thought to use them. :)

Hmm, looks like that could be my fault. This is a savefile from beta7 tried to play in beta8? Some variable names got changed around in between those releases which is causing that error. So not a bug, just not forward-compatible.

I agree, this would be a nice feature.

a) there are some talent groups that have the same name, the amulet only affects one of them, so check the mastery values of the talent group... also the bonus provided may either be trivial, or there may also be a cap in place.

b) chants and hymns are special, they do not run out because they reduce the maximum amount of positive/negative energy you can have (like other things), but this energy is special as you need to fill it up to use it for activatables (I can somewhat see your point though)

c) yeah, more of a feature though

d & e) DG mentioned before that savefiles are do not cross over betas, there will be work done to make sure they are compatible when the full version is released.

f) this is more of an idea not a bug ;) but yeah, either save over it or go to the tome save location (HOME/tengine/4/tome/saves) and delete the saves there
