Misc bugs

#1 Post by ghostbuster »

I created a brand new rogue and, by mistake, i typed 'x' (exchange weapons). Result: both daggers had desappeared either in the inventory or in the wielded equipment :( . No need to say the troll in front of me was very happy with the result and it was fatal to my character. A bug, I presume! lol

Talking about typing mistakes, it happens that I mistype a move to a direction with a wall. Even if there is no motion, it counts as a move, takes 1 turn, and a couple of my characters had problems with that. IMHO, it should be considered as a no-operation (like casting a spell without enough mana, or shooting without arrows) and cost 0 turns.

When using dual weapons, the behavior of weapon bonuses is incoherent. If you have a weapon of massacre, it gives you the capacity to had extra physical damage to your blows and it applies to both weapons. It is the same thing with a flaming or icy weapon that gives the extra damage to both weapons. But with weapons of accuracy (and maybe phase weapons), the bonus only applies to the ego weapon. I do not know which is the intended behavior, but it seems incoherent to me.

If you had typed 'x' again, your weapons would have re-appeared. Exchange weapons allows you to have two weapon sets equipped and to toggle between them. Because they are still equipped, even when not in use, they do not appear in your inventory and the equipped items shows what you are currently using.

Oh yes... Great! A very nice and useful feature, indeed. But a bit confusing. Maybe when listing the equipment, spare weapons, if any, could be showned at the end...
