Odd issue

I am on level 9 of Tol Falas. I saved, then reloaded just in case... I beat up a bunch of the nasties there, then run around, and the next time I REST, it freezes like it should when resting, but doesn't do anything, then I need to kill the tengine app and restart. I have done this 3 times now. It does not freeze the first time I rest to get my mana back after fighting the nasties, but then it ALWAYS does after the next wave. This kind of stinks... I can't really do anything, and I really don't want to teleport to Angolwen or anything, re-save, reload, then go through 9 more levels of Tol Falas... Any ideas?

saved after beating up the first nasties, then kept going. Froze again after first REST. Then reloaded and did not rest. It froze after casting Vision once, and once after just moving one tile. Almost like after x number of turns, it totally freezes.

Sounds like the mana regen bug. (By the way, once you've finished playing this character, you might consider upgrading to the most recent version.)

dhegler, can you tell us the last 10 or so lines of stdout? If you are running in linux/windows the stdout file should just be in the T-Engine directory. If you are running on a Mac... well just let me know. :D

FYI, I have the Blood of Life, but if I die, I cannot use it - it does not show up as an option when I hit 0 HP. Isn't that how it is supposed to work?

No. You drink it *while alive*, and later on, when the 'death menu' shows you...you get a 'resurrect'option.
