So, my archmage was wondering in the wilderness, and found this young mage, who asked him for trinkets and stuff...

And he can't find the entrance to Anglowen either, but he has the talent to teleport there...

This is not a bug...

The young mage needs to continue his training in Angolwen. He asks for your assistance to get in, and this will happen regardless of your class. If you already have access (because you are a Mage) you will receive an alternative reward. If you do not have access then your reward will be gaining access.

That reminds me: the alternate reward for mages reveals that the "apprentice" is a big liar. He says he's supposed to collect staves or jewelry, but hasn't been able to find even one... and then he turns around and gives you one that he's had all this time.

Maybe those Zigur fellows are on to something....
