Targetting Self default

Can the default choice for 'Are you sure you want to target yourself?" for an offensive spell be 'no?'

Another nice-to-have would be getting that popup to appear when you are targetting square other than your own with a damaging spell, when your flame spell or whatever is never going to leave the square you are standing in (such as when you are targeting something on the other side of a wall).

This happens to me occasionally, though I haven't pinned down the exact circumstance that causes me to keep picking these funny targets.
