Berserker oddities

#1 Post by Susramanian »

"You cannot use Warshout without a two-handed weapon!"

Some berserker abilities cost far too much. Unstoppable, for example. It's meant to be a panic button, but it costs so much that no berserker in a panic situation will be able to afford it. When I first got it, I had to have no sustains running and absolutely full stamina to use it. Blood Frenzy and Juggernaut are also rather pricey. Stamina doesn't come in huge heaps like mana. My level 37 berserker with 49 Willpower has only 286 stamina.

Shattering Impact's description still says that it affects you.

I'll add more as I find them.

I have to agree with the Warshout requiring a 2H weapon equipped being a bit strange. I have no issues with Unstoppable, maybe the cost is high but it's nowhere as prohibitive as you make it.

Also, Death Dance kills friendlies, which makes those escort quests where you get quickly surrounded rather problematic.

I don't see as a bug Death dance making friendly damage, it's obvious and adds to the difficulty of the quest, I think it's completely reasonable.

And it's also somehow understandable the warshout needing an axe to be cast... I mean, a Haka might scare a rugby team, but I doubt a Troll might get too scared.

I use unstoppable as an opener, and charge straight in - making sure I clear a path out before it runs out.
Specially useful when going against pesky summoners; charge on in with unstoppable, smash them down (making sure to clear a path and kill a few summoned to get the hp regen) and either phase door/teleport out, or run back a few and wait out the new unstoppable... not exactly the safest way of using it, but unstoppable + berseker (5/5) its pretty crazy the damage you can throw out there with no real concern for dying (unless you don't kill anything and end up with a DoT... thats how I died.)

Combine that with the high regen rates on crits + regen rate talent... its pretty crazy. :)
