Effective talents levels don't work on Fast Metabolism

#1 Post by Grey »

As far as I can tell, anyway... Got the talent to level 4 with a Berserker, and in spite of the effective level being 5.2 I was still only getting the level 4 bonuses. This is likely the same with Quick Recovery. Got a feeling it might be the same with Health too, since effective levels don't seem to affect it.

Not all talents actually have an effective talent level. Some go off of raw talent level and simply don't scale with talent masteries.

Granted it's not clear without looking at the lua but it's not really a bug.

Ya, the combat talent tree where all four talents are passive run off of raw talent level and do not scale. Speaking of which, I hope that shield expertise shows some numbers in the description. I would love to know how effect that talent is...

That's because the benefits from them are never recalculated, actually - once you buy them, it simply adds a fixed, permanent bonus to your life/stamina regen.

I think it would be nice if they WERE recalculated - they would have to be handled differently though, we'd need a 'GetLifeRegen' and 'GetStaminaRegen' function somewhere.
