Complete game crash Beta 11

During play, game completely crashes, window closed. I am on Ubuntu 10.04, Thinkpad R40 with a Radeon chipset. Reason I mention the graphics are due to the errors in the terminal and the dmesg.

I never encountered any problems in the previous betas.

Did you resize/change gfx mode by any chances ?

Nope. It just seems that some event happens and t-engine gets angry. I am trying to see if I can find a pattern to the crash, so far no luck. I'll let you know.

I am not sure what to think. I have no problems playing on my desktop, which is an Optiplex GX620, using Intel chipset onboard video. I did an upgrade on the laptop, but I do that frequently. I even tried the xorg-edges repository, thinking that might help, it didn't. I'd say it was due so some bug or fault with the open source radeon drivers, but then why did I never have a problem in beta 10? I have a level 13 shadowblade that I can't play due to a save bug that has been fixed in 11. Yet now, I can't get even to level 3 without the crash eventually occurring.
