I can still access menus and inventory but I cannot move my character nor does resting seem to take a turn. I have the following errors in stdout.txt (the index field 'distance map' error is there another 15 times or so) :

I switched computers just before this happened so I have a savefile in the wilderness before entering the sand worm lair. When I enter Carn Dum the same thing happens, I can enter the town fine and everything works there. Let me know if you would like the savefile or a character dump.
I've started to get characters that are invisible (and I'm not invisible) when I enter any level in the Lair. I remain invisible (along with any visual aspects of suspended abilities) until I move AND kill an enemy. I... have no idea why I would have to do both.
Looking in my (wilderness level) save game folder I noticed that I had a .teaz file for both the sandworm lair and Carn Dum even though I had never visited those zones with this particular character. I deleted those and everything seems peachy again. I'm not sure how those files were there since I think my last character died and the whole folder gets deleted at that point.

Figured out it was my fault. I unzip my save games into a temporary folder and then copy them into my profile. I had an old game in my temporary folder and windows when it copies directories will overwrite any files that are the same but leave those that were there already that didn't get copied over. Oops.
