Nothing ???

I don't know if this is a bug or a feature,...

but, apparently, Bill was generated in a lake and drowned before I came anywhere near.

Unfortunately, I had saved / quit before finding his stuff, so there is nothing in the log.

Oh, and the quest didn't "complete" either.
