So, I found this scroll on Level 1 of the Trollshaws, consistently. Every time I go there, I find it. It says something about a broken limb and a lovely glade. The presence of ellipses seems to imply some sort of continuing plot, but in my thorough explorations of the following levels, I find nothing.
Are the remaining scrolls supposed to be found at other locations in the game? Am I missing something here?

Same here! I think the first scroll has been included just to test out the new "lore system", more will come with next releases (IIRC this is supposed to become a nice treasure hunt quest in the Trollshaws

Actually from skimming the files, I think there is supposed to be one on each level of Trollshaws. But only the first one is ever generated.
