Beta 9 Phase Door bug

Rank 5 targeted Phase Door produced the following logs with no effect.

The first one was attempting to phase door the skeleton warrior.

All three attempts consumed mana and triggered the cooldown and all appeared to be with in normal spell range.

My last character used Level 5 Phase Door extensively and never had an issue with it. Also Beta 9.

I had Blur Sight active. That's the only thing I can think of that was different (never learned it or used it on my last character).

I plan to rebuild the character after work. If it crops up again I'll try and pin point it. When the Skeleton didn't Phase Door I thought maybe it was a level based resist (the Skeleton was OOD for the level). But when I couldn't phase door myself a bit later I realized something else was going on. Unfortunately that a bit later was when I really needed it :(

Couldn't get this to reproduce but did find another bug while experimenting.

Phase Door has no actual maximum range. Teleporting into the red works fine and I was able to teleport from one side of the map to the other repeatedly and always land on the exact square I targeted.

As to the original bug report, the only thing I could find that behaved like what I experienced last night was attempting to teleport into a wall or already occupied square (consumed mana, showed animation, put the spell on cooldown with no effect). I tried teleporting into trap tiles thinking maybe hidden trap tiles where the culprits but phase door worked fine (and didn't trigger the trap which I figure may be a design choice). I'm sure there were no stealthed mobs on the screen in any of the instances either so that can be ruled out. I'm sure it wasn't human error because it was every cast that game (three total) and the second one I distinctly remember targeting into an open area (I was trying to line up a lightning bolt and most of all get the skeleton warrior away from me so I didn't get stunned to death).

If I come across it again I'll save it and see if it reproduces on reloading and if it does I can send you the save file.

Thats weird. Last time I tried (it was in b9), when I attepted to phase door beyond range, it was displayed correctly (Targeting-zone different from target cursor) and when I hit enter, it showed the animation but didn't phase door. No turn and no cooldowns were triggered too, thus I guess it worked as intended.

Anyway, I noticed some other b9 bug:
1. When teleporting (5/5) and targeting with mouse (because it's beyond the visible map border, I play keybord only usually) the teleport target is not accepted. This means: sound+animation displayed, but no teleport/cooldown/turn triggered. Therefore not a serious issue, targeting with mouse and then going with shift+left/right with keybord makes the targeting valid and is a annoying but not critical workaround.
Dont know if this problem occurs with phasedoor too, I will test it tomorrow.

2. Even with Phase Door and Teleport at 5/5, it doesn't seem to allow *exact* targeting. With phase door, a 3x1 target area is displayed, but as I can tell it seems to target exactly on the target-curser. With Teleport is displayes the huge target-area and randomizes your exit point accordingly, allthough the skilldescription says, that with 5 points the exact location can be chosen...

PS: My system is WinXP. If reproducable, I'll add a log tomorrow,

Level 4 Phase Door with my mage.

Still able to teleport from one side of the map to the other (well outside of intended effect range).

Also, can no longer phase door creatures that you can only detect via sense.

(Though I realize this may be intentional rebalancing if it's not figured it's worth reporting)
