Disarm

Uruk-hai fighter disarmed me. Nasty. (aside: how do I get that ability?)

I attempt to attack him anyway...

Fred is disarmed!
Fred performs a critical strike!
Fred hits ukur-hai fighter for 16.50 physical damage.
Fred hits uruk-hai fighter for 18.75 cold damage.

I assume the cold damage is from Ringil, which is theoretically lying on the ground at my feet (or something)

Also, I note that I can't use shield attacks either ... is that intended?

Yeah I did not want to actually remove the weapon I thouht it's evil enough as it is.
Yeah shield attacks are disabled too.

And you as a player have no way to gain a disarming attack
Maybe latter if you are all real nice ! (could be a rogue stuff ? )

Yeah, sounds like a dex or cunning based skill.
