I'm on a laptop with no obvious way to turn on number pad, so I set my key bindings like this:
up, down, left, and right are up down left and right respectively.
diagonal up-left is shift-up, down-left is shift-left, down-right is shift-down, and up-right is shift-right
the run directions are same as above but with a ctrl modifier.
So the issue I have is that if I press just down it moves down-right. If i press shift-down it runs down-right. I tried rebinding all the keys but nothing works except to rebind down to some other key (end in this case) which makes for some awkward controls.

Re: Key binding for down isn't working
yeah, t4 isnt really made for laptops
I just make do with it and do as little diagonal movement as possible.
the other possibility is to go with roguelike commands, though those are a tad confusing at first.

Oliphant am I, and I never lie.
Re: Key binding for down isn't working
The laptop thing is just an aside to explain my strange mapping. The bug I'm reporting is that when I press down it goes diagonal, and when i press shift-down it runs diagonal, even though my down is mapped to down arrow and diagonal down is mapped to shift-down (run diagonal down is mapped to shift-ctrl-down)
Re: Key binding for down isn't working
seems to be fixed in beta 2! Thanks!
