characters becoming invisible

I'm not sure what's causing this, but occationally my @ and all the monsters vanish from the screen. It seems to be cured by dragging the map around, but it is quite irritating. whatever's happening is kept in the savefile, as when I load the attached character, It suffers from this, and it had been like this when I saved and quit. perhaps the file will be of some use.

Did you get blinded by, say, a shimmering mold?

If she were blinded, moving the map around shouldn't fix the problem.

No, the character's not blind, the line of sight is still lit up.

Line of sight is always generated even for blinded characters, they just do not see actors.

Ah, I see. No pun intended. Resting doesn't fix blindness, and it doesn't have a visible status flag.

I checked the savefile but yes you were simply blinded, check the character sheet (press C)
After moving for a while it disappeared
