Half the screen is cut off in the window
Half the screen is cut off in the window. I cant read the right side of text, and I cant see the entire map either. Running at 1280x800 resolution. I can see the whole window. Let me put up a picture of it...

here's another picture. as you can see its making picking talents quite difficult. I have no idea what half of them actually do.

Re: Half the screen is cut off in the window
So this is in Windows Vista or is it Windows 7?
64bit or 32 bit?

Re: Half the screen is cut off in the window
One thing I noticed, is that the line where the text is invisible, is directly correlated to the explorer window behind the game. The may be coincidence, but somehow I think they are related.
In your second screenshot the explorer window is also still on the taskbar (though not visible, possibly hidden behind the IE window, or possible minimized)... But try playing around with that.

Good spotting canderel, this would indeed be a very very unlucky coincidence

Re: Half the screen is cut off in the window
I have the exact same problem on Vista 64, but without any explorer windows open (or even running). While there were other windows open (IE, Firefox), they were individually all set for full screen and were all minimized. With that setup, the right side of the tome window was still "cut off", and I will admit to not bothering to go beyond the opening text because of it.
Re: Half the screen is cut off in the window
its vista ultimate 32. the heck are you talking about "explorer"? I have nothing of the sort running so no its not a coincidence. Order of apps running that you can see in the task tray are
Intel graphics media driver
Dell touchpad for my laptops touchpad
norton
battery
internet connection status
audio
clock.
theres no explorer anyplace so no its not a good eye.

Re: Half the screen is cut off in the window
well, in the first screenshot you took, there was a ' window's explorer' window open (this is what you use to browse folders in windows)
ASIDE: however, vista is extremely buggy and it probably is the quickest that microsoft has ever depreciated a product. I hated my copy of vista and jumped to windows 7 asap.

- Internet Explorer to Tome Forum
- there is a windows explorer window open to T-Engine4-windows... - the one I'm referring to, and on the 1st screenshot it is in front of the Internet Exporer window (and behind the game itself), and on the 2nd I presume behind it
- Personalization (in the first one)
- T-Engine, running ToME module
