Annihilator class will not unlock for me

Hi, a small problem... maybe I just don't understand the exact unlock conditions, but, I have completed the steam quarry a couple times since update and Annihilator will not unlock. Is it possible my summons got the finishing blow on one of the needed monsters to unlock Anni, and that does not satisfy the conditions? Or am I missing some condition for the unlock I was not aware of?

YOu must have the Tinker categories (Physics, Chemistry) to be able to receive the quest to unlock Annihilator.
