So, I used Cease to Exist on an enemy, along with Attenuate, and then finished him off with a Temporal Bolt, splitting the timeline and returning me to where I started...
However, the Bolt was still there, in mid-air. The game insisted it was heading for me and that it was dangerous(as in, I couldn't rest in the location I was standing in), but the bolt never moves, though it's still "live," i.e. not just a graphics bug, because moving through the space it's in does damage to me. Which also means it's no longer "my" bolt, since it's not meant to do any friendly fire damage.

Just got this same bug in 1.6.7. Used Cease to Exist, finished off foe with Temporal Bolt, and the bolt is hung in midair, and running into it causes damage.

It's weird, this happened to me too but not every time I used that combination of spells. Maybe temporal bolt has to be the killing blow. Or if it's still in on screen when cease to exist ends?
Interestingly, you can cancel the old temporal bolt by firing a new one through it. Two objects can't exist in the same place, at the same time!
