- If your Mirror Image is out of your vision, it will start attacking for 1 physical damage. This only happens if the target is in your vision, but the Mirror Image isn't.
- Casting Manathrust, Lighting or Auger directly at your Mirror Image will cause it to damage itself even if you have Spellcraft sustained. With Flame (only if at level 5) the Mirror Image will burn itself, actually taking damage from said burn (only 1 damage per turn.)
- Related: Mirror Image will damage itself with its own Earthquake/Inferno/Glacial Vapor.
- Fireflash and Blastwave will damage your Mirror Image even if you have Spellcraft sustained. Same goes for Chain Lightning if the Mirror Image is between two targets.
- Earthen Missiles will be mimicked by the Mirror Image. However, the inflicted bleed will 'belong' to the Mirror Image, dealing significantly less damage over time than if you cast the Missiles without the Mirror Image (if both your missiles and the image missiles hit the same target.)
- Mirror Image does not inherit the ice block penetration from Uttercold, making it deal significantly less damage on a ice-focused Archmage.
- (Shadowblade) Mirror Image will mimic Shadow Veil (for almost no damage), but not Shadowstep (is this because it has the never_move property?) It will only mimic Shadow Veil if you have cast Shadowstep beforehand.
