Steam Cloud sync not enabled for ToME by dev

Greetings DarkGod our great provider of infinite sweet suffering,

It seems something broke in ToME - Steam version.
It does not report to use Steam Cloud sync and therefore does not download settings/unlocks/addons/saves
There should be Steam Cloud option block at the bottom of options, but it is missing.
Steam is saying that this happens when dev does not enable this option for their game.

Possibly disabled because it was incredible buggy and was reverting game progress?

That might be, but since I reinstalled ToME, all my progress/unlocks/saves/... are in cloud and not downloading.

Progress and Unlocks are stored on ToME's profile server, not Steam Cloud. That only held save data.

Try leaving the main menu open with your account logged in for a while to give it time to sync. Its a privately run server, so its not the fastest at dealing with the huge number of players it has to deal with. It needs a little patience.

That is great news! I will try leaving main menu online for a while.
Once I manage to login via steam, that is. Login is sometimes not working. (like today)

It worked, thank you very much.
I do not mind the savegames, they die anyway
Unlocks would be a major pain though.
Now to reapply my keybinds and options, but that should not take so much time.

I have found out that the cloudsaves are managed directly ingame via Options/Steam/cloud saves option.
Yay for restoration of all lost characters.
