[1.6.4] Escaping infinite dungeon

It seems I found a way out of the infinite dungeon (started there so no campaign before).
Ukllmswwik the Wise spawned in the infinite dungeon. He was friendly so I talked with him and got the quest to kill Slasul. He also spawned a portal to the temple of creation. I went in, killed Slasul yet the portal back didn't take me into the infinite dungeon but into the campaign map.
I think it is kind of funny but I don't think it is intended.
Does anybody encounter a similar bug? Is there a way back into the infinite dungeon without playing through the whole campgain?

So an ancient dragon managed to do what even the godlike beings could not...

Actually there is a way back. The ruined dungeon. But it will send you to a fresh instance of ID.

Btw this bug is too cool to be fixed. Hope it stays this way
