Any more info? Mine seems to work fine on 1.6.0 and 1.6.1, both with fresh characters and 1.6.0 save

I am in 1.6, started there. I am an Antimagic Krog summoner. I dunno what else might be relevant... will happily answer more questions if there’s anything else that would be useful to know.

I can post a log of a wild fire drake not using AM Zone the whole duration of their summon, preferring to use bump attacks or move against a non-Silenced skeleton magus with Corruptor and skirmisher classes and non-empty Vim and Mana bars, if that would help, but even just the relevant part is 13 pages long.
