[1.6] Unremarkable Cave (NPCs killed w/o affecting quest)

Greetings.


Upon arriving at the "Unremarkable cave" ("Strange New World Quest", after taking the portal), as expected, I was greeted by Fillarel Aldaren the Elf and Krogar the Orc fighting each other. The orc was hostile and the elf was friendly.

The only option shown in the dialogue was to attack the orc. However, I was able to target Fillarel with single-target skills, even though she was a friendly unit (and remained like that after being attacked).

After dealing some damage (not killing) to her, I was presented to the dialogue which should only be shown after killing the orc (which was still alive and hostile).

Finally, I was able to kill her, and still have the quest enabled, as if the orc had been killed. Another dialogue was shown.

To prevent bugs or glitches, I forced the game to close, instead of leaving the cave.

After returning to the game, both the orc and the elf were alive & friendly towards each other and me, and had dialogue bubbles on them.

Upon talking to the elf, she would thank me for saving her and tell me to talk to High Sun Paladin Aeryn, thus advancing the quest (in the quest log: "Fillarel told you to go to the southeast and meet with High Sun Paladin Aeryn").

Upon talking to the orc, he would thank me for killing the elf (which, again, was alive), and my only option was to say "I hate Elves anyway..." (I amd playing as a Shalore, btw, lol).

Force-closing the game would present me to the same situation.

UPDATE

I was able to kill both the orc (which turned hostile after being hit) AND the elf.
Killing the orc updated my quest log, telling me to find the Pride (wtf?). After that, killing the elf would update the quest again, erasing the part about the Pride and directing me to the Outpost.


Game version: 1.6.0, without mods and with all the expansions. Playing as a Shalore Doombringer.
