[1.6] Crash on New Game with Forbidden Cults Enabled

As the title states, I can get ToME to run if I disable Forbidden Cults but otherwise it crashes. This only seems to happen on my desktop, my laptop can play it just fine.
I've attempted an uninstall/reinstall and did a Steam file integrity verification but that seemed to do nothing. Also I've already disabled any non-ToME addons.

Is there something else I can do to remedy the situation? I'm on Windows 10 if that matters.

You seem to have cults installed twice, please check if there is a file named cults.teaac in both game/dlcs/ and game/addons/ If so, remove the one in game/addons/
