Strange weapon mastery interactions.

So i have noticed that the extra 30 physical power from weapon mastery gets retained when using a exotic weapon.
Even stranger if you have a normal weapon equipped and remove weapon mastery you lose the bonus but if you switch to a exotic weapon before doing this you retain the physical power bonus from weapon mastery despite having 0 points in it.
