Neither one has been registered as such in the vault.

All the characters created on this laptop during the last 6 weeks start red in the character list on the vault. So while using this laptop I expect that none of my future wins will get registered at the vault. Can't explain why.

Both Yeske and Gloria are registered winners:(8 and 11 weeks ago on the same laptop)

Installing a fresh copy of ToME on the laptop does not solve the problem.
Playing the game from a friend's PC and the new Test character shows white on the list: (I suspect it to be ok)

Sometimes the server will go down (resets) or you will disconnect. This can sometimes cause the game to not update in your online vault, which can in turn cause you to not show up as a winner, sometimes charsheets seem to fail to update online after a while, I'm not sure why.
Generally I like to make sure I'm connected before the last fight (being able to use chat, link items, ...) to be as sure as I can, you can do that by reloading your character usually, and making sure your username shows up as connected in the main menu.

It took me some while to get new winners, but the issue remains the same:
Winners are not registered even when connected to the internet.

The next three characters are winners.

These two characters were played on a laptop and the internet connection is by USB G4 modem.
Neither of the characters is registered as a winner.

Could it be that the USB G4 modem is causing the issue?

Its extremely unlikely that the type of hardware causes any issues. Unless the type of hardware is 'constantly drops connection'.
