Throwing knives trigger poison ivy

When I hit Poison Ivy with a thrown knife, it gets to whack me with its poison. I'm at range.

Throwing knives purposely apply melee procs like poison or slow/gloom. This means that it also procs melee retaliation. It's silly, but so is punching someone so hard that they explode into deadly shrapnel or running so fast you phase through solid walls. Just don't think about it too hard.
