[1.5.10] Cannot change appearance in fortress
When I unlock the room that is supposed to allow you to change your appearance, there is only a black square in the middle of the room, and no other functionality. This has been the case for every game in which I've made it to the fortress.

Are you using any addons? It's possible something is interfering.

A fair few QoL addons, but I'm not sure how to narrow down the culprit given that a new character would have to reach the fortress every time I want to test something.

You can use debug mode to teleport there 
And yes indeed try without addons as it's very possible one overloads some datafile required
