Wrong shop icons

#1 Post by Cathbald »

This has been bothering me for years and misery loves company so I thought I'd share.

Here's a list of shops that are falsely advertising their merchandise.

Image
Angolwen doesn't say it sells infusion but huh... what is that actually? Like a raw gem or something? A "magical item"? Are angolwen trying to pretend infusion are magical and not natural?

Image
Say you want to carve a turkey but lost your big kitchen knife, you naturally go to your local knife shop, like the one of the right, right?
Well let me tell you carving a turkey with a greatsword is pretty messy, 1/5 stars, would not recommend shop.

Image
Elvala got the word from Derth that you can pretend greatswords are knives to sell them for more, nobody suspect a thing so far.
They also have a "lore" shop pretending to be a rune shop. Did you ever wonder why that shop was kind of isolated from the rest of the town, by the way?
The reason is that the "lore" is actually smut.

Image
Ah, there we go again, the "magical item". You know I think this guy wanted to use the rune sign but being confused for a smut shop was to big a risk.

Image
"Goddamit some noob told me this was a rune shop" - last words of Biri before dying of poison because he couldn't reach a shield rune in time.
Maybe the owners decided to move at the same time but couldn't be bothered to actually leave the town?

Image
We get it, thalore are all about nature and shit but i can't inscribe a mindstar or a torque on my body (anybody disagreeing will get a mindstar IN their body and it won't be pleasant)

Image
The "greatswords are knives" conspiracy even reached the far east, proving some smart con man managed to use the orc farportal before our hero and decided to bank on it rather than telling the world about the danger it was in.
I write guides and make addons too now, apparently

You can go here for a compilation of everything I wrote, plus some other important stuff!

Includes general guides (inscriptions, zone, prodigies), and class guides (Demo, Anorithil, Bulwark, Zerker, Sblade)

clearly, the mages' influence has spread to even the shops

they don't want you to succeed either.

This is a horrendous cataclysm that is affecting the shops of every city, we must condemn the magic users. But the real reason is another..

Magick users from the mage metaclass are feeling alone and forgotten, abandoned and dead, they can only try to being noticed with this things.

Proofs:

Alchemist is old,
Necromancer is tedious and doesn't even live up to the name,
Archmage.. or like i call them AHAHHAHAHAHHAHArchmage,
Zigur has 0 shops problems; coincidence? I think not.
Arachnomancer will live.
