1.5.0 Creatures spawn on top of others
I saw that happen sometimes in the 1.5 beta but didn't pay it enough attention. It happened again once in my game on the release. I'm pretty sure it's linked to some reaver ability that spawns worms or something because as far as I remember, it was always such a worm that shared the tile with me.

sharing a tile should be impossible, except for when someone got "displaced" during map generation.
does your bug happens during generation, or after it?
my guess is after since it involves you, but its best to avoid assumptions.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear about that. It happens in the middle of a fight which is why I mentionned a kind of reaver talent that spawns worms : I was in the middle of a fight with what I think is a reaver rare and it looked like a worm spawned on the same tile as me.Radon26 wrote:sharing a tile should be impossible, except for when someone got "displaced" during map generation.

Also had that happened with my oozemancer.

That cryomancer is at range 0 from me and i'm invisible and unable to take damage.
After killing the cryomancer i was still invisible and unable to take damage.
Gnarg decided to rush me and ended on top of me aswell. Moving solved the issue.
It all started when the cryomancer decided to tp everyone around i think...

mordy, you are certain that it was an actual acting entity, and not status effect indicator?
in blight talent category, there is a talent that looks like there are some stuck to you. only its a corruptor talent, not reaver.

Well I can't say for sure now but I do think it was that. The worm was the size of the whole tile and I was really invisible. Also I was visible again as soon as I took one step.Radon26 wrote:mordy, you are certain that it was an actual acting entity, and not status effect indicator?

I've also had this mobs dissapearing thing, there's one place where it's really easy for it to happen, alt sandworm, if you move next to the big ones on the bottom right of their tile they dissapear

Got that again in high peak, 1.5.2. Orc pyromancer with infestation had a carrion worm spawn on top of me.

As a reaver, I've seen this from both of the talents that spawn carrion worms: they can spawn on top of mobs. The mob is then invisible, unattackable and untargetable until the worm moves from the space (or dies). When that happens, the mob is still untargetable and invisible until it moves, but you can attack the square just fine.
