Graphical glitch with Flames of Urh'Rok

When I activate Flames of Urh'Rok, my character's sprite turns into a violet square. Seems like some part of the spell's animation is missing? Playing on Steam, and I tried to verify the game's cache and turned the sustain on and off several times, didn't help. Can anything be done about this? Thank you.

I need your system specs: your OS, gpu and driver version. if you have a laptop, you may have 2 GPU's and I need to know which you're running tome on.

after this I'll need you to do a series of debug shader runs which will take from 30 minutes to 2 hours and some techie thingies.

Thanks for the reply. Ok, here goes!

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit SP1
GPU: 2048MB ATI AMD Radeon R9 200 Series (Driver version 14.100.0.0)

I'm willing to perform all the necessary tests if it means squishing yet more bugs in ToME :) Do tell if you need more info on the system. I'm not too keen on hardware, so might've missed something necessary. I play on PC with a single GPU unit.

We've talked in skype, made some debugging and fixed the thing. Those who can't wait till it's included to 1.2.4 may just grab the fixed shader file from here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/256 ... wfire.frag

Thanks to the relentless efforts of Suslik, the glitch has been identified, apprehended and burnt in the daemonic flames of Fearscape as a reminder to all those who dare to oppose the will of the greater darkgod. Thank you for the swift help :) Much appreciated!

I'm gonna shamelessly bump this thread, but it's been a long time since Suslik came up with a fix to the game file, and still I have to manually replace it after each game update. Is it going to be implemented into the main build of the game? Pretty please?

Can you check that it now works in 1.5 beta 2 please ?

I checked the behaviour in character editor screen, and it seems the glitch is still there. After that I also copied the .frag file provided by Suslik manually, and it doesn't work for 1.5, too.

edit: the graphical glitch is still there with beta2. when I clicked corruptor it wasn't showing up but when I typed in a name the reddish/brown box on the character showed up
