Hi there, folks.
I'm playing a Paradox Mage at the moment. I'm on level 2 of the Vor Armoury, fighting the multi-hued dragons (like a moron).
I get knocked into a corner and my Contingency talent activates See the Threads automatically.
On my first thread I run away and hide behind a corner and heal to full. So far so good.
The talent puts me in the second timeline. Before I can hit any buttons, I get hit with lighting and die.
The talent puts me in the third timeline. Again, I get hit with lightning and die.
Instead of being able to choose a timeline, the game spazzes out and I get a message saying "The see the threads spell fizzles and cancels, leaving you in this timeline."
That would be fine, if I ended up dead, but I didn't. I'm still on the game screen, with zero hitpoints. I can't move, but time is passing super fast; every few seconds a new day happens. I can click abilities, but nothing happens and they cooldown instantly; abilities that were on cooldown when I died aren't cooling down.
I decided enough was enough, and it was time to quit. I can't close the program, and when I click "exit game" in the game menu the window closes and nothing happens.
My game log is about 3 megs, so I can't attach it, and screenshots are also too big to attach to this post. Any ideas on what information I can post to help track this down is appreciated.
p.s.: Windows 7, 64 bit machinee, TOME launched through steam.

You can upload to sites like imgur/dropbox/mediafire and post links here.

alt+f4 is one way.
if that doesn't work, you can brute force it with task manager. there are very few things it cannot shut down.
i am pretty sure, that in case of you dying in a timeline, it should be impossible to return to it. and if there is only 1 in which you survive, it should be automatically selected.
if i understand correctly, you got hit immediately after the line had opened, twice. that might have glitched the game a bit.
as for "time passing at a retarded pace" thing, you got displaced.
since you are not technically on the map, it does not wait for your reaction, i think. shit like that sometimes happens.
i think it is possible, that because you were slain too fast, your actor got stuck in the 3rd timeline, which the view moved to the first.

Re: Game bugged out, don't know how to report it
Thanks for the replies. I ended up using the task manager to quit the process, but when I loaded up the game again, my character was no longer on the list of active toons. Poof. Gone. To put it more epically:
"I got hit so hard by the overpowered dragons my character got deleted."
I hit up the IRC, which pointed me to the support website. I signed up for an account, but in the last hour or so it hasn't sent me the confirmation email. I'm hoping one arrives so they can take a look at my save file.

Thematically appropiate bug, working as intended
