Enemies using Ambuscade in Fearscape instakil and crash game

Ok this has happened two times now and its pretty annoying for a rougelike player. Both times, I got fearscaped by a unique with shadowblade skills and bam suddenly I die and get a crash report. When I check my health its full, and nothing indicates that I should be dead. Since this happened to 2 seperate characters, I realized something. The last skill used in both cases before game crashed is "Ambuscade". For some reason getting Ambuscade in Fearscape instakills you without killing you and crashes the game. I couldnt attach the screenshots, bug report, game saves and log file to the post but I can send them if needed.

PS: The game crashes again when you try to resurrect with Blood of Life, and doesnt let you use it. Pretty weird stuff.
