I apologize in advance for not posting a log, but I first wanted to see if this is a known issue or not. I haven't been able to play for a couple of days but I will get a log generated if it helps.
I recently switched over to running Linux full time (the fact that TOME4 is available made the decision easier). I started a game as a temporal warden and everything up until I started my run up the stairs played perfectly.
Once I entered High Peak however, the game started to get very choppy (long pauses, missed animations, I died once without ever encountering or at least seeing an enemy). Once this starts, the game will eventually just close and dump me back to the desktop. I can start the game back up again, but unless I have made a manual save point all progress made since starting the game gets reset. So, for example if when I loaded the game I was in High Peak 1, even if I made it to High Peak 4 on my last session I will be back at High Peak 1. If I make a manual save then I will start wherever that save was last triggered.
A couple of things I have noticed once things start to go sideways:
- I can no longer manually save
- I can not exit the game or return to the main menu
- I can keep playing but the game will crash to the desktop with 100% certainty once things get "choppy"
- At most I can clear a couple of levels of High Peak before things start to go unstable
As I mentioned earlier, the rest of the game played fine. I just wondered if this is a known issue with either the latest build or with the Linux build in general.
