fortunately, it was along the wall, rather than across the hall.
i was playing as the king of all undead (also known as necromancer), when a random orc soldier decided it would be nice to have a duel, in the fiery pits of hell.
to which my response was to call guards to take care of this annoyance.
when i returned, i noticed that they stayed behind and taken a break. i couldn't have any of that, so i called them again.
then, i noticed that while coming to my rescue earlier, they have left behind some dummies, making it look like they have never left their post.
i attempted to clear them, but it seems that there is some strange enchantment on them.
whoever attempts to touch those dummies, is swapped with the originals, making it rather difficult, if not impossible.
i believe i have heard rumours of other guards expressing such a behaviour, but as the "delayed ones" (TW) were mentioned, i dismissed it as "just their thing".
they do strange stuff rather often indeed, but this one, seems to be not limited to them.

i swear i am not drunk. although it is rather late right now.

I thought we fixed that bug. :/
Re: fearscape+shadow tunel=impassible wall
in what version you fixed it? because i might be a little behind updates.
Re: fearscape+shadow tunel=impassible wall
Well, 1.3ish attempted to get rid of those "undying clone" thingies whic popped up a lot from summons (I remember being plagued by it with Hedgeknights).
Then again, Fearscape in itself is pretty weird. It should honestly probably just kill everyone who's left behind, for a good measure.

Re: fearscape+shadow tunel=impassible wall
well, i am currently running 1.4.3, and intend to update as soon as my necromancer is done.
oh, also, btw.
it seems that there might be a limit on how far from you, your mention can be transferred when transitioning.
so far i can only remember it happening in norgos lair, but some of my undead were left behind.
when something like that happened later, i also used shadow tunnel. not sure if that left any more copies behind.
