update they both work perfectly fine, IF you do not have both skill-trees unlocked. so fix their compatibility.

Can you actually describe the problem?

If you unlock tinkers, then demon seeds, you only have slot on your weapon for demon seeds. No slots for tinkers on any slot.

I *think* you can equip bot and demon seeds in those slots? They just use the same kind of slot in the engine.
Oh, or do you mean that tinker slots become loked after unlocking Demon Seed?

I just made a new adventurer to test what op said. The character sheet only had a slot on weapon (because demon seeds start with only that slot) and no other slot was displayed at all. When you unlock tinkering, usually the character sheet already got slots displayed everywhere.
I didn't even try to equip something. The character sheet just did not have any slots displayed (except for the weapon).
