Blighted Summoning extraordinarily ineffective

#1 Post by Frogtaur »

A summoner's summons rarely use their Blighted Summoning talents. The reason is that they start with zero vim. Most of them have no way of recharging vim other than killing creatures, and a few (like the jelly) aren't very good at doing that much. The result is a mostly useless prodigy.

It is useful with other classes.

Like most prodigies, Blighted Summoning can be anywhere between really good to really useless depending on your class. So be sure you understand all of the benefits before selecting it.

I expected that different classes would get more from it than others... but I expected the difference in mileage to come from normal things, like the way the player builds their character or how talents play out in the field. This looks more like a bug than intended behavior.
