The portal to bring me back to my original and beloved timeline spawned on the lava left behind by the meteor rain that killed the Chronus Twins.
When the lava disappeared, the portal went with it.
Now I'm stuck in the Temporal Rift - a sad way to end an fun play-through.
Meteor Rain + Temporal Rift Portal = Stuck.
