Two bugs seemingly associated with saving.

Hey, I just discovered this game and I decided to create an account and play. I've come across two very annoying bugs so far:

1. A bar to the left side of the interface with the text ''saving'' on it, starts from the left until it spans the entire screen. It starts from 0% and keeps increasing by several tens of % every second, the higher the number, the longer the bar gets, eventually I have a long gray bar spanning the entire middle of the screen. This is present at all times and I can't seem to find any in-game options to fix this. I can add screenshot if required.
2. Manually saving the game doesn't work. I'm stuck at: ''Please wait while saving the game'', once the bar reaches 100% the game freezes and I'm unable to do anything (music continues playing, but nothing else works, can't interact with the game in any way), and I have to close the game through ctrl+alt+delete.

I have no idea how to fix these issues, but I would really like to, I also hope this is the right forum to share this information in.

Well, you put it in the bug forum, so I think you found the right place. Anyways, your best option would be to grab the log from the game directory, I.E. where you installed the game, and then post the relevant part here. There should be a topic on the forum about how to find your log if you get lost.
A little bit of a starters guide written by yours truly here.

Well, there are no lua errors in the log file. But here's a screenshot of the issue I'm having, as for the second issue (game freezing when trying to save), I don't know how I could provide more information than just describing what happens, since there are no lua errors in the log file.

Eh. You might as well still post the log. As for the look of the bug... At least your game is really safe.

All of it? The log is really long, and there's no errors, and keep in mind that I haven't been able to close the game correctly after actually playing the game, I have on the other hand played around with the settings without playing and then exiting the game (if that has any bearing on the contents of the log).

I think you can turn off or reduce the auto saving in the game options somewhere. Might not help though.
Also, does the game have permission to write to the save file folder? I notice the log repeatedly saying it is creating module files.

It would seem either starting the game as an admin or disabling autosave fixed both issues. Thanks for the help guys, I should really try these things on my own more often before turning to others for help.
