Permanently off-line vault

Once I revert the file 4.0.back into 4.0, the game launch normally.

did you name it 4.0.back instead of 4.0.bak?

no, sorry for the typo. I named it "4.0.bak"

Same issue. I just started playing again after a few months off (for some reason, my computer refused to put the game in a playable resolution). My new character can only access the offline vault. An old character that I have still kicking around is still fully able to access it however. I did just upgrade to Windows 10, could it be some weird bug with that?

No -- I use Windows 7. Nothing that I've tried has solved the problem (though I started playing about a week ago, went into the vault, and it was restored to the on-line version, full of my stored equipment. I tried again a little later with the same character, and it was back to off-line, where it's stayed ever since.

Same problem here... the item vault is permanently in offline mode, on all characters. And that's from a fresh 1.3.1 install with new characters.

I'm having the same problem. I've used the online vault many times before, but now I only get offline vault even when I'm connected to in-game chat.

I'm also getting disconnected from chat a lot and/or failing to login on the main menu. Maybe the game servers are having issues?

After further investigation, I *can* access the online vault with old characters that previously used it. My new characters only get the offline vault though. Very strange.

DarkGod looked at my log file and said it didn't look like an addon was causing the issue.
