Unable to open vault in level 3 of Gorbat Pride (3)

After finishing off Gorbat, I was unable to open the large vault appearing in the middle of the level. Arcane Eye shows that it is full of drakes and wyrms, clicking on the door does not produce the usual prompt. I tried adjusting the switches in the zone to all four possible permutations to see if that would make any difference and it did not. I am not using any addons that did not come with the steam purchase, and no errors appear in the log file. I am using windows 7 and version 1.3.1 Please let me know what else could be useful and I will provide it. Have not had any other issues with the game save that I had to turn down some of the graphical settings once I started to pile on the sustains in the latter portion of the game.

I adore Tales of Maj'Eyal. It has converted to the "one life" mentality altogether. ++Good

Could be that it only responds to bumping into the door to open it, and you may have bumping disabled.

Was not the problem you described. After going back days later, I was able to access the vault...probably the result of a complete shutdown and reboot of my system. I have never seen this problem since, and am content to chalk it up as a fluke.
