Step 1: Interact with the golem
Step 2: Select "I want to change your equipment"
Step 3: Click on any item
Step 4: Click "Transfer to party"
Step 5: Select to transfer to your golem
Now both you and your golem have a copy of the item.
Should be easily reproducible.

If I remember correctly, I could have sworn this was an old bug with one of Zizzo's addons.

Oh, sorry about that. I am using the ZOmnibus so that would be the cause. Didn't seem like the kind of thing a small addon would introduce.
