[1.3.1][mac] crashes whole computer

I'm running 1.3.1 on OS X (10.10.3) and the game randomly crashes the whole computer. There doesn't appear to be any specific error... everything seems to be fine and then suddenly the computer shuts down and then goes to a grey screen that says "Your computer had to shutdown because of a problem..." I've not noticed any consistent pattern to when it happens. It often happens when I save, or am on the inventory screen, but it will also have on a zone change or any other command.

Though it doesn't really seem graphics related I tried disabling all the shaders. Has any seen this issue before, or know where I should start in troubleshooting the problem?

Faulty HDD/RAM? Overheating? Any errors in log?

RAM and HD test good, and it only happens while in the game.

Temp levels are also normal.

Which log? I checked the te4_log and while I'm not entirely sure what to look for, nothing looked out of place. When I searched it for "error" nothing turns up.
